Madonna begun her new Sticky And Sweet tour at London’s O2 Arena with a tribute to Michael Jackson.
A dancer wearing a white glove and a sequined jacket - Jackson’s signature style - joined Madonna on stage as she sung Holiday.
Madonna said: "Give it up for one of the greatest artists the world has ever known - long live the King!"
Pictures of Jackson as a boy flashed on the screen as the dancer moonwalked across the stage to Billie Jean.
Madonna also closed the show with Give It 2 Me, and wore a jewelled glove, along with her dancers.
A public memorial service for Jackson will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
